| Who we are Our dive centre is on the romantic Island of Murter in Central
Dalmatia. Dives in the National Park Kornati, the wreck of Francesca
di Rimini and the red gorgonia in Babuljasi definitely count to
the high lights of the Adriatic Sea. With our speed boats we reach
fascinating, but sometimes more distant locations within reasonable
time. After the dives there is enough time to enjoy the overwhelming
landscape and culture above the water. |
| Where we are
Murter is one of 1185 Croatian Islands and
is connected with a bridge to the mainland. Most of our guests
come by car using the comfortable A1 highway. Close to Murter
there are two big airports: Zadar about 60 km and Split about 100
km away.
By caressing the coastline over millions of years, the Adriatic sea has created a unique landscape. Today this part of the coast with its diversity of islands, romantic bays, serpentine roads and breathtaking summits has developed into a tourist attraction. Since a long time the Kornati Islands are known as a sailor’s paradise. Only recently it was found out that the under water landscape is minimum as impressive as the archipelago above the sea. Around Murter you find towns with historical centres like Zadar and Sibenik and Krka national park with its waterfalls. |
| What you can expect
If you expect high life, disco till late morning
and crowded bars you could be a bit disappointed. What you can
expect is the full Mediterranean flair: romantic bays, the smell
of pine trees, a nice fish dinner in the harbour, watching a kitschy
sunset and perfect dives. If you think that there are no colours
in the Mediterranean sea you will be surprised. We take you to
walls covered with red fan corals and colourful sponges. We show
you caves and places with pieces of old amphora and sometimes
dolphins join us on the way to our dive sites.

| The Dive Sites |
Steep walls with drop-offs to the blue are characteristic for the area around Murter and the Kornati Archipelago. Some of them are overgrown with red fan corals which gloom in an incredible deep red when you point with your torch. We support a scientific group that starts a mapping in October 2007 of these gorgonia walls. Not too much is known about these corals since they grow mostly below 25 m only. |

Whether it is the wreck of Francesca di Rimini (where Najada Diving has the only official licence for the time being) or easy places with an amazing diversity of marine life – we bring you fast and save to the sites and back home. | The Education |  |
We offer the full PADI course program up to assistant instructor and PDA up to Instructor. Since Murter is a typical family - holiday resort we are specialised in kid diving. Further we perform photo courses and rent cameras. Once a year we offer dives guided by marine biologists in the frame of our SEA MORE program.
