Who we are

Yucatek Divers is one of the leading dive centres in the Riviera Maya in Mexico. We offer a highly personalised diving service - one of the primary goals of Yucatek Divers. Our international instructors also act as dive guides. We love what we do; we do what we love! We believe that customer satisfaction begins with recognising that each individual is special and unique.

Our clients are as divers as the regions around the world from which they come. After listening to our customers to gain and understanding of their experience, abilities and desires, we offer diving programs and educational courses designed to exceed their expectations. We are dedicated to unsurpassed quality in all that we do by complying with or exceeding the highest standards set in the dive industry for education and safety.

Where we are

Fortunately when the earth was created, included in the master plan was a paradise designed for great diving - Mexico’s Riviera Maya. Easily accessible, extremely affordable, home to the Western Hemispheres longest barrier reef, and world renown for its extensive underground cavern and cave systems, the Riviera Maya is the perfect destination for divers of all levels and experience.

Other destinations may have good diving but the Riviera Maya has so much more to offer. Stroll along white sandy beaches, swim in the warm Caribbean waters, meet friendly people, dine on traditional cuisine, salsa the night away, visit ecological parks, explore history, discover an ancient culture - the list is endless. Before you depart, don’t be surprised if you find yourself already planning your next visit to the Riviera Maya.

The Dive Sites

The largest underground river system in the world, the “d’zenots” in Maya, “cenotes” in Spanish, is the main attraction for scuba divers visiting the Yucatan Peninsula. The cenotes, which are distributed in the jungle like pearls, are the doors to an incredible underwater world, providing the best cave and cavern diving imaginable.

With water as clear as air the visibility is unbelievable as the diver glides through a colour-filled fantasy world. The gentle current and mild water temperature (24† C) create a perfect underwater environment for divers of all experience levels which offers endless opportunities for spectacular underwater photography. Yucatek Divers provides the highest quality equipment and professional training required to ensure the ultimate diving experience.
